October 19- Portland, Maine
October 19 In Portland, Maine
Pulled into Portland,
Maine just a bit ago. Its 38d.
My visit to the doctor in the Medical Bay on the ship shows I have an upper
respiratory infection so he gave me prescription-strength Sudafed and said use
my Chloraseptic for sore throat and Halls cough drops. Told me to eat more
since I hadn't been eating much, and more pastry.
Last night after dinner I stopped and took a photo of the display with the dress the Duchess of Cambridge wore when she christened this ship 5 years ago.
Now I’m waiting for my Sudafed and Advil to kick in so I can dress and get breakfast and we'll see if I'm up to walking around Portland but we spent 4 days here a few years ago.

I decided I’m staying
onboard again to rest. Still coughing bad and so tired. Nothing close by the
ship in short walking distances either. I’m saving myself for tomorrow in New
Brunswick, Canada. We have a paid tour there.
